WHY Wildlife Protection
Wildlife is essential for maintaining ecological balance and preserving biodiversity. However, rapid urbanization, habitat destruction, pollution, and climate changes are threatening many species. When natural habitats are damaged, animals lose their shelter, food sources, and safety. Protecting wildlife is not only about saving animals—it’s about safeguarding nature, the environment, and the health of future generations. Norta Seva Samiti believes that people must develop compassion and responsibility toward animals to create a harmonious and sustainable ecosystem.
WHAT WE DO
Norta Seva Samiti works actively to protect wildlife and promote environmental harmony. Our awareness programs educate communities about the importance of wildlife conservation, the effects of habitat destruction, and the need to protect endangered species. We conduct school workshops, community seminars, and nature camps to inspire children and adults to respect and care for animals. We collaborate with environmental groups and local authorities to identify areas where wildlife is at risk. Our volunteers help in reporting illegal activities such as poaching, smuggling, and animal cruelty. In rural and forest-edge communities, we conduct training on safe human–animal interactions to reduce conflicts and protect both people and wildlife.
Tree plantation, habitat restoration, and water body protection are integral parts of our conservation efforts. We encourage communities to adopt environmentally responsible practices like avoiding plastic waste, maintaining green spaces, and protecting local flora and fauna.
Our organization also supports rescued, injured, or abandoned animals by connecting them with shelters and veterinary assistance. Through consistent advocacy and community engagement, Norta Seva Samiti aims to build a society that values and protects all living beings.
